Joining the Committee
The committee has a total of 15 voting members, 3 ex-officio, non-voting members, and 1 non-voting liaison from the UA. Except where otherwise indicated, members serve terms of two years.
Undergraduate Students
Two voting positions are open to undergraduate students.

Graduate and Professional Students
One voting position is open to graduate and professional students.
Graduate or professional students wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Employees
Two voting positions are open to employees.
Employees (non-academic or non-professorial academic staff) wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Faculty
Two voting positions are open to faculty.
Except where otherwise indicated, faculty positions on assemblies committees are staffed by the Faculty Senate. Since the Faculty Senate is external to the Office of the Assemblies, please inquire directly through the following address if you are a member of Cornell faculty and are interested in serving on an assemblies committee:
University Assembly Members
The UA appoints a liaison from its membership to serve as a voting member of this committee.
Ex-Officio Members
The following university staff serve as ex-officio, non-voting members of this committee:
- None specified in the UA charter, but their existence is suggested.
Position Members
The following university staff serve as voting members of this committee:
- Chair of the Department of Architecture or a designee
- Chair of the Department of Natural Resources or a designee
- Director of Plantations or a designee
- Vice President for Facilities and Campus Services or a designee
- Coordinator of the Landscape Architecture Program or a designee
- Chair of the Department of City and Regional Planning or a designee
- Chair of the Art Department or a designee
- Director of the Graduate Program in Historic Preservation or a designee
Administrative Appointments
There are four presidential appointments, each of which serve staggered terms of three years.
