II. Final Thoughts of Committee Membership
~will work to add 1 more employee to the committee with non-traditional hours, this will increase staff representation from 2 to 3 people. ~will reduce the number of undergraduates from 2 to 1 person. ~some question of whether Zellman Warhaft will remain on the committee if he is no longer in his current position at the College of Engineering. ~Lynette and Abe will contact Mark Jasinski and Sue Dale-Hall to reinforce the importance of their attendance at these meetings.

VI. Definition of Communication Strategy
All members will act as information gatherers. Abe will draft an email to introduce the committee and point those who are interested to the website for more information. We will also have the contact list on the website for people to contact their constituents. We will make sure to coordinate our efforts on communication with the HR committee on communication.

Assemblies website for this committee will link to HR’s website, and HR’s website can link to ours.

III. Update from Human Resources
Board of Trustees will likely pass and approve the plans at their October meeting, and there will be a groundbreaking soon after.

They are looking to hire an Associate Director of Work-Family to do some of the marketing for the center by August or early September this year. This will be a permanent position within HR.

IV. Final review of BH sketches
Meeting on 6/20 with the BH architects and Cornell representatives was very good. They will need any additional comments by Thursday 6/28.

Some changes mentioned already; change one fixed observation area to a quiet work area, add more covered outdoor play area, add an additional door to the butterfly garden so that it is not dedicated to one room in particular, add more adult toilets, indicate areas for breast feeding/pumping

V. Discussion of BH checklist
We will schedule another meeting soon 1 our for us and an additional hour with BH reps to go over the checklist specifically.

VII. Adjourned at 2:35 p.m.
