MEETING NOTES

I. Welcome — began at 12:45 p.m.

II. Discussion of BH checklist — sent by Lynette Chappell-Williams

  • Tuition will be comparable to community rates
  • Possibly leave Cornell childcare grants for other daycare centers
  • Strive to balance quality, affordability, and tuition
  • Need further discussion on how/if we will offer emergency back-up care
  • Need further discussion on whether we will offer a discount for multiple children
  • Need to find out what the cost of care at the center will be, that will be the maximum people would pay, but no higher than market rate
  • Need further discussion on whether enrollment would be first-come/first-served or set limits on each population

III. Discussion on Community memo — sent by Abe Stroock
All agreed this was a good memo and no changes were necessary.
