The committee has a total of 12 voting members. Appointments are two years in length and staggered unless otherwise specified.
Two voting positions are open to undergraduate students.
Undergraduate students wishing to join this committee should apply online:
One voting position is available to graduate and professional students.
Graduate or professional students wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Three voting positions are open to employees.
Employees (non-academic or non-professorial academic staff) wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Two voting positions are open to faculty.
Except where otherwise indicated, faculty positions on assemblies committees are staffed by the Faculty Senate. Since the Faculty Senate is external to the Office of the Assemblies, please inquire directly through the following address if you are a member of Cornell faculty and are interested in serving on an assemblies committee:
No members of the University Assembly serve on this committee but the committee does report to the University Assembly.
Note: UA charter does not specify how this committee should report to the University Assembly.
The Senior Vice President of the university appoints three members of the Cornell community to serve as voting members.
The Senior Vice President also appoints another person to serve as chair of the committee.
