I. Call to Order and Introductions

J. DeMarco, called the meeting to order at 12:20 p.m.

Others Present: D. Stein, H. Mandeville

II. Approval of Minutes

June 5, 2002 EA Minutes

The EA voted unanimously to approve the June 5, 2002 EA Minutes.

III. Open Forum

J. DeMarco talked about the President’s Address to employees.

C. Bucko talked about the SEED event, and that volunteers are needed for the July 17th event.

D. Billups gave an update on the new employee reception.

L. McNeill talked about issues about benefits available to state side and not endowed UBC.

H. Mandeville talked about the Annual Advance that will take place on August 9th.

IV. Business of the Day

Election of EA Officers

The EA went into an organizational meeting.

G. Pratt was elected as Vice Chair, Employee Assembly.

T. Johnson was elected as Internal Operations Chair, Employee Assembly.

T. Shelley was elected as Parliamentarian, Employee Assembly.

V. Adjournment

The meeting was adjourned at 2:00 p.m.
