The committee has a total of 15 voting members, 3 ex-officio, non-voting members, and 1 non-voting liaison from the UA. Except where otherwise indicated, members serve terms of two years.
One voting position is open to undergraduate students.
Undergraduate students wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Two voting positions are open to graduate and professional students.
Graduate or professional students wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Three voting positions are open to employees, one of which must be a member of a collective bargaining unit.
Employees (non-academic or non-professorial academic staff) wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Three voting positions are open to faculty.
Except where otherwise indicated, faculty positions on assemblies committees are staffed by the Faculty Senate. Since the Faculty Senate is external to the Office of the Assemblies, please inquire directly through the following address if you are a member of Cornell faculty and are interested in serving on an assemblies committee:
The UA appoints a non-voting liaison from its membership to serve as a voting member of this committee.
The President of the university appoints up to three non-voting members to represent the administrative units affected by the committee’s decisions.
The President of the university appoints up to five members who are experts in issues related to the committee’s charge. If you are interested in serving, please e-mail the Office of the President [5].
