R.3 Regarding the Biennial Setting of the Graduate & Professional Student Assembly Student Activity Fee

Whereas the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly (hereafter referred to as the GPSA) Charter requires the student activity fee to be set every two years, as required by Article IX of the GPSA Charter;

Whereas the GPSA Appropriations Committee has performed its due diligence by analyzing byline group applications and allowing byline groups appropriate time and forums to provide information to the committee;

Whereas the Appropriations Committee has reached out to the GPSA community to gather information and to allow students to be involved in the activity fee setting process.

Be it therefore resolved that the GPSA submit with this resolution and allocate the following amounts, per graduate and professional student, to the named byline groups:

Athletics - 7.00
Big Red Barn - 7.00
Club Insurance - 5.10
Cornell Cinema - 11.05
Cornell Concert Commission - 5.75
Cornell University Programming Board - 3.55
Emergency Medical Services - 1.77
Graduate Orientation - 0.70
International Students Programming Board - 1.46
Slope Day Programming Board −3.07
GPSA - 2.95
GPSA Finance Commission - 26.60
TOTAL - 76.00
Be it finally resolved that this resolution be sent to David Skorton, President of Cornell University; Susan Murphy, Vice-President of Student & Academic Services; Kent Hubbell, Dean of Students; Alison Power, Dean of the Graduate School
