Joining the Committee

The committee has a total of 6 voting members and 1 non-voting members, all of whom serve two-year, staggered terms.

Undergraduate Students

One voting position is open to undergraduates.

One voting position is open to graduate and professional students.

Graduate or professional students wishing to join this committee should apply online:

Employees

One voting position is open to employees.

Employees (non-academic or non-professorial academic staff) wishing to join this committee should apply online:

Faculty

One voting position is open to faculty.

Except where otherwise indicated, faculty positions on assemblies committees are staffed by the Faculty Senate. Since the Faculty Senate is external to the Office of the Assemblies, please inquire directly through the following address if you are a member of Cornell faculty and are interested in serving on an assemblies committee:

Administrative Appointments

Two positions are staffed by administrative appointment:

Non-voting members

The University Assembly appoints one non-voting liaison to the committee from its membership.
