From the Cornell Assemblies
December 5, 2008
President David J. Skorton Cornell University 300 Day Hall
Dear President Skorton:
Attached please find a copy of Resolution #1, Findings of the ad-hoc Committee to Consider PeopleSoft which was passed unanimously by the University Assembly in support of the administration’s work on resolving issues with PeopleSoft Student Records module.
After the Ad-Hoc committee met with the executive sponsors, Susan Murphy and Polly McClure and their willingness to share data/comments collected about the issues with PeopleSoft Student Records module; it is the opinion of the ad-hoc committee as well as the University Assembly, that the executive sponsors are in-fact, aware of the problems and taking appropriate steps to correct these problems and improve the system.
In conclusion, we are in support of the actions they have made thus far, and their current and future work on the continued enhancements of the system.
Respectfully submitted,
Rodney A Orme
Chair, University Assembly
