I have discussed UA R10, Investigating an Open Access Policy for Cornell, with Provost Fuchs, and we both agree that Open Access is an important topic and deserving of further study. We are pleased to learn that you have formed a committee with Professor Chris Schaffer as chair and look forward to the results of its deliberations which I understand are expected during the fall term.
