GPSA Meeting: Today at 5:30pm

President Skorton and Vice President Susan Murphy will be joining us at our meeting today, November 26 at 5:30pm in Malott Hall. Bache Auditorium.

Protecting the Veterinary Profession, Clients, and Patients

This lecture will be the third installment of American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) Law and Ethics Series.

Dean M. Snyder and Tom Gosdeck, New York State Veterinary Medical Society legislative representative, will present an overview of how laws are formed and discuss a variety of laws that have been of recent interest to the veterinary community. They will then walk the group through specific laws that could limit a veterinarian's ability to practice and discuss the varying opinions from both the veterinarians and the public and how those opinions affect the legislative process.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 27 from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in Schurman Hall, LH1.

Chanukah Party

Join other Cornell graduate students for a Chanukah Party. There will be hors d'oeuvres, wine, desserts, and latkes!

This event is open to the entire Cornell graduate community.

Meet New People!

Your GPSA Programming Board is hosting a Speed-friending event this Wednesday, November 28 at 7PM in the BRB!

Sign up to meet new people, make new friends, and have some fun! You will rotate between different tables of four people, engage in different fun activities (trivia, Apples to Apples...) and chat to a whole bunch of new people!

This is a free event but space is limited to 40 people so please register here.

Diverse dance

The Department of Performing and Media Arts presents the fall Dance Theatre Concert, November 29 to 30 and December 1 at 8:00 p.m., in the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts.

The concert will feature diverse work by student and faculty choreographers and is directed by Jumay Chu.

Tickets are $5. Purchase in person from the box office at 430 College Ave.(open 12:30-4:00 p.m. weekdays when classes are in session), online or call 607-254-2787 (ARTS).
