Next GPSA Meeting: Monday, February 18 at 5:30pm, Bache Auditorium

During our next meeting, the GPSA will continue breakout discussions about topic areas in the Graduate Community Initiative, the strategic plan for the graduate and professional student community. The topic areas that will be discussed include Mental Health, Housing, and Graduate Student Center. These topics are important to the community and we welcome all graduate or professional students who want to come and participate in the discussions! Email Mitch Paine for more information.

Dumpling Night

Come and meet fellow graduate students over delicious food at Dumpling Night on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm in the Big Room at the Maplewood Community Center.

The Ethics of Euthanizing an Aggressive Animal

The Animal Behavior Club, Pet Loss Support Hotline & American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) will present a panel discussion featuring Dr. Elizabeth Berliner, Dr. Germain Rivard, Dr. Katherine Goldberg, and Debby Lalley on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in Lecture Hall I at the College of Veterinary Medicine.

Medieval Studies Student Colloquium

The Society for the Humanities, GPSAFC, and Medieval Studies are proud to co-sponsor a Graduate Student Conference in Medieval Studies with keynote speaker Amy Remensnyder (Brown University) on Saturday, February 23, 2013 from 8:30am to 5:00pm at the A. D. White House.

Join Janna Lamey, Assistant Dean for Graduate Student Life, and Jan Allen, Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, for a lively discussion with your colleagues.

Topics will provoke conversation as well as opportunities to connect and network. Our goal is to help you gain both perspective and strategies to help you succeed. Confidentiality is expected.
