Resolution 9: Employee Survey Team, Appreciation

WHEREAS, feedback from the 2011 Employee Engagement Survey of the Cornell Employee community revealed a need to address four key areas of concern.

WHEREAS, it was determined that there was a need to establish a leadership team comprised of Human Resources Staff and the Employee Assembly Chair and Vice Chair to oversee the various subcommittees creating recommendations in response to the survey results.

WHEREAS, members of this team led sub-committees, presented materials to various constituencies through meetings and open forums, set deadlines and compiled preliminary and final reports for review by President Skorton and Vice President Opperman

BE IT SO RESOLVED, the Employee Assembly (“the Assembly”) expresses its appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for the members of the Employee Survey Team for their hard work and energy in keeping the work on task and representing the subcommittees to University leadership.

BE IT SO RESOLVED, the Assembly would like to publically recognize the following members of the Employee Survey Team for their contributions to the final recommendations submitted to President Skorton and Vice President of Human Resources and Safety Services, Mary Opperman.
