Thank you for submitting Resolution 3 for my consideration. I am grateful to the Employee Assembly for publicly recognizing the work of the Division of Human Resources and the RED Committee for their efforts to create and promote a climate where employee contributions are recognized and celebrated. As your resolution points out, the 2011 Employee Engagement Survey highlights the importance of frequent recognition of the excellent work of staff across campus. The work of the human resources professionals and the RED Committee are important elements of the overall campus efforts in this regard.
