I would like to share with you Employee Assembly Resolution 4, “Regarding 2011 Staff Engagement Survey College and Unit Follow-up” sponsored by EA members Gregory Mezey, Tanya Grove, Brigitt Schaffner, Jeanne Boodley Buchannan. The resolution passed 12–0−0 last week.

This resolution call upon Deans, unit and department heads to submit formal plans that address all areas of the survey and any other areas identified by their respective individual colleges, departments or units with action items, person or persons responsible, communications plans, tangible success metrics, target completion dates and any additional information necessary and that progress on these action items be factored into yearly performance appraisals for those submitting the respective plans and that they be reviewed annually and shared with the Employee Assembly.
