III. Gender-Inclusive Housing

• 1. Survey/evaluation questions
• 2. There is a survey that is being developed. The survey will be administered to the 90 students that showed interest in a GIH option.
• 3. The draft will be completed on Thursday morning and sent to IRP for review and approval.
• 4. ResLife needs to go over the survey and edit the survey.

i. Add Distance to class/location as one of the options on Question #2

• 1. Some people don’t want to live in the residence halls that are far away from their classes (the Ctown dorms or EcoHouse)

ii. Add a Co-ops or living off-campus in Question #1

• 1. It’s not certain that everybody’s first choice was to live on-campus, so include an off-campus option
• 2. Some people might have wanted to live in fraternities or sororities
• 3. Didn’t sign a lease in time so decided to remain on campus

iii. Change the language in Question #1 to “housing options” instead of “residence halls”

• 1. This should be done since we’re making the change to Question #1

iv. Add Social/family pressure as one of the options in Question #5

• 1. Many students may have opted not to do the program because of comments made by their friends/peers
• 2. Some might have talked to their parents about it and their parents expressed concerns that caused them to change their minds

v. Demographics: Definitions

• 1. Not everybody knows the different between “sexual orientation”, “gender identity”, and “biological sex”
• 2. Add short definitions so people can get clarification before answering
