Joining the Committee

The committee has a total of 12 voting members and 1 non-voting administrative appointment. Term of service is two years unless otherwise indicated.

Undergraduate Students

Two voting positions are open to undergraduate students.

Employees

Four positions are open to employees. Employees of the Cornell Police Department or of Transportation Mail Services are not eligible to serve on this board.

Employees (non-academic or non-professorial academic staff) wishing to join this committee should apply online:

Faculty

Four voting positions are open to faculty.

Except where otherwise indicated, faculty positions on assemblies committees are staffed by the Faculty Senate. Since the Faculty Senate is external to the Office of the Assemblies, please inquire directly through the following address if you are a member of Cornell faculty and are interested in serving on an assemblies committee:

Administrative Appointments

The department of Transportation and Mail Services appoints one of its administrative staff to serve as a non-voting member and to represent the unit in appeals.
