Resolution for the endorsement of the University Assembly in the Faculty Senate’s Draft Resolution to establish an Ad Hoc Committee to address concerns about the performance of the Cornell Child Care Center

WHEREAS the Faculty Senate addresses the needs of Cornell families, specifically in the area of childcare, in the “Resolution for consideration at the March 10th meeting of the Faculty Senate” attached to this document,

WHEREAS the University Assembly’s standing Childcare Services Subcommittee recommends supporting the Faculty Senate’s efforts to increase the number and diversity of stakeholders in addressing the issues outlined in the Faculty Senate Resolution to maintain a high quality of childcare services available at Cornell University,

BE IT RESOLVED that the University Assembly endorses the efforts of the Faculty Senate to address these concerns,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the University Assembly offers and encourages collaboration between the ad hoc committee of the Faculty Senate and the existing University Assembly Standing Committee.
