Joining the Assembly

The UA is convened from members of the constituent assemblies (Student Assembly, Graduate and Professional Student Assembly, and the Employee Assembly) and the Faculty Senate. Please consult the leadership of the body that represents your University status for more information.

Ex-Officio Members

The following university staff serve as ex-officio, non-voting members of this committee:

• Vice President of Student and Academic Services;
• Senior Vice President (deprecated, now the Executive Vice President);
• another senior administrator appointed by the President; and,
• Chair of the Minority Affairs Committee.

Getting Involved in Other Ways

Assembly meetings are public, and community members are always invited to attend. Community members may also get involved by contacting their representatives on the assembly with issues of concern or by joining committees of the assembly.
