Community-wide gratitude to Cornell University student-athletes and the staff who support them.

The University Assembly of Cornell University is pleased to present this resolution to Cornell University’s Department of Athletics, for its splendid accomplishments this academic year, in any number of sports, and to congratulate the talented Cornell student-athletes, who represent our beloved university with sportsmanship, dignity and the best of Big Red team spirit.

Cornell Athletics are followed, avidly, by thousands of Cornell University Faculty, Students, staff members, and alumni who are proud of their teams in both victory and defeat, and who have been thrilled by the well-deserved national spotlight that has shown so brightly on many student-athletes and, by extension, Cornell University.

Congratulations to Athletics Director Andy Noel, and the top-notch Cornell University staff who work under his charge, and have had such an important role in these notable successes.
