Dear President Skorton,

I would like to formally inform you that the University Assembly passed Resolution Resolution 8, 9 and 10 at the last University Assembly meeting.

Resolution 8 calls for a the disassociation of the Public Safety Advisory Committee from the University Assembly (PSAC). The PSAC currently address the same issues as the President’s Council on Campus Safety and Gender/Sexual Violence (PCGSV) and the disassociation of PSAC from the UA will allow efforts to be centralized and report to the president through the PCGSV and through the oversight of the ECCHS.

Resolution 9 approved of revisions to the Cornell University Guidelines for the Office of the Ombudsman. I have also attached the explanation of the guideline updates and a version of the approved guidelines for your review.

Resolution 10 calls for appointment of individuals to the University Hearing and Review Board for the upcoming term lasting from June 1st, 2013 to May 31st, 2014.
