The Employee Assembly Attendance & Excusal Policy as stated in the Employee Assembly Handbook is as follows:

Any voting members who are absent for three consecutive or six cumulative unexcused or a total of nine absences for any reason in one year from regularly scheduled meetings will indicate either an unwillingness or inability to serve on the EA and a resignation will be requested from the member by the Chairperson. An excused absence can be granted by the Chairperson or the Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Assembly for work related (including vacation) reasons or illness.
