Whereas, Cornell University and the Student Assembly should be making efforts, both large and small, to contribute to environmentally sustainable practices
Whereas, each Student Assembly member is sent meeting minutes of the previous meeting by e-mail before every meeting
Whereas, changes to the minutes are rare and often grammatical, thus can be done over e-mail, making the process of printing them out an unnecessary waste of paper
Be it therefore resolved that minutes from previous meetings will no longer be printed out for Student Assembly members at every meeting time. In the event that there is a highly contentious omission or error in the minutes, the dispute will be settled over e-mail and confirmation of the minutes will also take place over e-mail.
