R.28 Release of SAFC Allocations

Originally Presented On:November 19, 2009
Sponsors:Justin Min ‘11, Yuliya Neverova ‘10, Charlie Feng ‘11
Subject of Resolution:Release of SAFC Allocations
Type of Action:Sense-of-the-Body
Status/Result:New Business

Whereas the Student Assembly Finance Commission (SAFC) will receive an estimated 37% of the Student Activity Fee for the 2008–2010 byline funding cycle.

Whereas the SAFC allocates over $1 million dollars to some 350 undergraduate student organizations annually.

Whereas the SAFC has historically released hard copies of allocation data through the Office of the Assemblies.

Be it therefore resolved, that the SAFC release an electronic report which specifies the determined allocation amounts for all SAFC-funded organizations and that such a report will be open for all undergraduate students to view after the completion of each SAFC funding cycle.

Be it further resolved, that the SAFC will appropriately determine how the electronic report will be organized and open for undergraduate student viewing.

Respectfully submitted,

Justin Min ‘11
Minority at-Large Representative
SA Liaison to the SAFC
