Resolution 18

Whereas, the University has acknowledged there is a lack of late night programming on campus between the hours of 10:30pm and 1:00 am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights;

Whereas, the Student Assembly is the largest funding body for programming organizations on campus;

Whereas, the administration has expressed interest in committing University resources to late night programming;

Be it therefore resolved, that Student Assembly create an ad-hoc committee to coordinate the creation of a document which details how to create successful late night programming on campus;

Be it therefore resolved, that the document outline what University resources (independent of SA allocated resources) are needed to;

Be it therefore resolved, that the committee be chaired by the SA President and comprise of SA voting members, representatives from the Tri-Council, Class Councils, Community Center Councils, CU Tonight, International Students Programming Board, CU Programming Board, Community Partnership Board, Haven, ALANA, Minds Matter, Cornell Concert Commission, and Willard Straight Hall Student Union Board;

Be it finally resolved, that the committee’s resulting document be submitted to the SA for review and forwarded to the Vice President for Student and Academic Services, the Dean of Students and the President of the University.
