Dear President Skorton and Director Finan,

Please find attached Resolution 35, requesting that a directive be issued which discourages the purchase of bottled water by University departments, that the University reduce the sale and purchase of bottled water on campus, and that the University invest in drinking fountains so that students may more easily refill renewable water bottles, amongst other requests. Though a number of SA members were worried about the financial burden the loss of bottled water revenue would place on students and the University, overall the SA felt strongly that the University should increase its environmental efforts in this area. The Resolution passed by a vote of 15 yes to 6 no with zero abstentions.
