Cornell Badminton
Whereas, the Appropriations Committee issued the following report:
The committee voted that the SAFC did err in denying funding to Cornell Badminton for their durable goods by a vote of 8–0−0. In addition, decisions of previous appeals have indicated that Badminton has been funded for shuttlecocks in the past.
The Appropriations Committee voted that the SAFC did not err in denying funding to Cornell Badminton for their travel event to Princeton by a vote of 0–8−0. The committee felt that since the group did not provide adequate proof of event documentation at the original budget deadline, the group should not be funded for the travel event to Princeton.
Be it therefore resolved that, the Assembly adopt the following:
- The SAFC did err in denying funding to Cornell Badminton for their durable goods, and Cornell Badminton should be funded by the SAFC for an additional $3840.
- The SAFC did not err in denying funding to Cornell Badminton for their travel event to Princeton, and the SAFC decision will stand.
