Whereas, the Student Assembly created the Ad Hoc Late Nate Programming Committee through Resolution 18;

Whereas, the Committee submitted its Late Night Programming Report to the SA at the end of the Fall semester;

Whereas, the Committee has written and is moving forward with its Pub Report;

Whereas, the below Appendix B changes are supported by the affected organizations in support of the creation of the Pub and the programming which will occur in the Pub;

Be it therefore resolved, the SA adopt the following changes to Appendix B of its Charter;

Part IV;

C. C. Class Councils

  • 1. $2.50 of the Class Council’s allocation of the Student Activity Fee shall be divided

among the four classes.

  • 2. Class Councils shall commit $00.25 (25 cents) of its allocation to programming in the Campus Pub.

I. Cornell Concert Commission

  • 1. The Concert Commission shall seek to produce at least one act each semester in Barton Hall, Lynah Rink, or similar venue.
  • 2. The Concert Commission shall strive to put on one free concert during the academic year.
  • 3. The Concert Commission shall seek to pay for at least one event per semester in the Pub
  • 4. The Concert Commission shall increase its co-sponsorship cap to $600 for events held in the Pub

  • G. Cornell University Programming Board (CUPB)
    • 1. CUPB will allocate at least $1,500 per semester to programming in the campus pub. ***This allocation should strive to fund at least two events per semester. CUPB may choose to sponsor additional events or allocate more funding to the events it sponsors in the pub if it chooses to do so.

  • S. Student Union Board
    • 1. SUB will allocate $3,000 of its SAF allocation to programming in the campus Pub.
