Byline Dear Student Organization Leaders and Advisors,

The Student Assembly would like to remind you that you are required to provide equal access to each of your services, meetings, and events which are funded with the help of the Student Activity Fee. This includes ensuring access to students with disabilities.

Please be advised that failure to abide by this requirement will reflect poorly on your funding application in current or future cycles.

For more information on how to make your events accessible, please contact Cornell’s ADA Coordinator for Facilities Andrea Haenlin-Mott at accessibility@cornell.edu. The attached document provides a checklist for considerations when planning an accessible event, and the following link includes a map of accessible locations on campus: http://disability.fs.cornell.edu:8399/Interactive_Map3/mapviewer.jsf?width=814&height=558

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Adam Nicoletti, the Student Assembly VP Finance at sa-vpfinance@assembly.cornell.edu.

Best, The Student Assembly
