Rationale of the Committee
The Committee felt that CPB served an important interest in supporting the fledgling service projects of Cornell students. Committee members felt that projects were prudently funded and appreciated the flexibility provided by “rolling grants” as well as CPB’s oversight over such grants. Some recommended that CPB continue to closely evaluate repeat grants given year after year to ensure there would be adequate funding for new innovative grants. Overall, the Committee appreciates the organization’s professionalism and feels it targets an important service need for the Cornell and Ithaca communities.
