Rationale of the Committee
Committee members felt that the Student Assembly’s voluntary cut in spending was a good fiscal decision with respect to years of high budget surpluses. In addition, most felt that new outreach programming was a good step in connecting with more people in the undergraduate community. Some felt that the SA should cut their budget even further to $2.00, however, most felt that it would prevent the SA from expanding in the future with increased special projects and outreach.
