Student Assembly

Whereas, the Student Assembly seeks to maintain a fair elections process;

Whereas, the University Ombudsman has traditionally maintained an appellate role in the SA elections process;

Whereas, the appellate role conflicts with the charge of the Ombudsman to always remain neutral;

Whereas, the SA must respect the charge of the Ombudsman and adapt its elections rules accordingly.

Be it therefore resolved, that the SA approves and adopts the attached elections rules.
