Dear President Skorton,

I would like to formally communicate to you both Resoultion 4 and Resolution 9 from the SA. Both are internal policy changes.

Resolution 4: Re-naming the Women’s Issues Representative seeks to change the name of the Women’s Issues At-Large Representative to the Women’s Liaison At-Large. The sponsor hopes that the change will reflect to others the broad role of the position.

Resolution 9: Elections Committee Confirmation seeks to approve the 10 members of the Elections Committee. This committee is responsible for conducting the various undergraduate elections. They work in an objective manner to hear all challenges and apply all elections rules. The committee will also be working on updating the current rules in preparation for the spring semester, as well as working to increase undergraduate participation in local elections. The final listing is the consensus of the Chair of the Elections Committee, the Vice President of Internal Operations. and the Staffing Committee.
