Student Assembly Appropriations Committee

Joining the Committee

The committee has a total of 15 voting members and 2 ex-officio, non-voting members. Terms of appointment are one year unless otherwise indicated.

Undergraduate Students

Nine voting positions are open to undergraduate students. Members of the Student Assembly Finance Commission may not serve on this committee.

Student Assembly Members

The Student Assembly appoints six voting members from its own membership during spring organizational meetings. Therefore, representatives elected in the fall may not serve on this committee.

Ex-Officio Members

The Student Assembly Vice President of Finance is the ex-officio chair of the committee and votes only to make or break ties.

The following staff serve as ex-officio, non-voting members:

Temporary Members

The Student Assembly liaison to the Student Assembly Finance Commission serves as a non-voting member of the committee in matters relating to the SAFC. Otherwise, this liaison may not serve on this committee in any capacity.
