  • Survey Results:

Already sent to Dean of Students, after analysis will be sent to CUPD and VP Murphy

  • Important stats:

50% walk home between 10–2AM, over 50% alone. 40% feel unsafe 3% have used it Target the 17% that don’t know about it- Freshmen, North Campus. Over 50% would use the student service if we started the program. Hopefully will be in contact w/ CUPD by next mtg.

  • Funding from CWRC:

Wanted to know type of advertisements Posters- target bathrooms, something about “Meet your Blue Light Escort” When Natalie met with the Blue Light Escorts, found out that it was not only CUPD officers who were working as the Blue Light Escorts. If got 6+ calls would feel more comfortable having students work, could place them at the library. (right now only get 1–2) Right now focusing on promoting Blue Light Service, to get more of our goals accomplished in the future. Maddy will work on the posters, Kristen to get numbers for a budget to give to the CWRC. Big posters: colored, ones in bathrooms b+w. Estimate: 300$ total, 50 color posters

  • Daily Sun:

Press Conf. w Sgt. Shirley and tell them all about our Committee and hopefully would get something in the Sun.

  • Budget:

200$ right now, can get 200$ more from SA. Should we keep the 200$ for initiatives like SAFE? Estimated money to receive from the CWRC- asking for 300$ but guess we’ll get 100$. Patricia will ask Women’s Health Awareness
