Joining the Committee
The committee has a total of 11 voting members and 3 ex-officio, non-voting.
About Joining a Committee
Undergraduate Students
Eight positions are open to undergraduate students. Of these no more than five may be members of Student Assembly.
Undergraduate students wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Graduate and Professional Students
One voting position is open to graduate and professional students.
Graduate or professional students wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Employees
One voting position is open to employees.
Employees (non-academic or non-professorial academic staff) wishing to join this committee should apply online:
Faculty
One voting position is available to faculty.
Except where otherwise indicated, faculty positions on assemblies committees are staffed by the Faculty Senate. Since the Faculty Senate is external to the Office of the Assemblies, please inquire directly through the following address if you are a member of Cornell faculty and are interested in serving on an assemblies committee:
Student Assembly Members
The Student Assembly appoints up to five of its members to serve on this committee.
Two of these members include:
- Student Assembly Liaison to Women’s Resource Center
- LGBTQ Liaison-at-Large representative
Ex-Officio Members
The following university staff serve as ex-officio, non-voting members of this committee:
- Vice President of Human Resources or designee
- Dean of Students or designee
- Vice President for Student and Academic Services or designee
