    Codes and Judicial Committee
    The Codes and Judicial Committee of the University Assembly makes recommendations for the Campus Code of Conduct and assists in staffing the University Hearing and Review Boards.
    Campus Welfare Committee
    The Committee reviews any proposed motions and university policies related to diversity and inclusion; family support; health services; and, any other topic deemed relevant to campus welfare by the University Assembly’s Executive Board.
    Campus Infrastructure Committee
    The Campus Infrastructure Committee reviews and approves proposed motions related to: environmental impact and sustainability; information technology; transportation and commuter policies; and, any other topic deemed relevant to campus infrastructure by the University Assembly Executive Board.

    2.  Associate Committees

    Campus Planning Committee
    The Committee’s charge is to review and make recommendations to the President regarding physical planning for the Ithaca campus including master planning, land use and physical development, landscape and environmental planning and design, transportation planning, circulation and parking, and infrastructure, new construction and renovations as they relate to the overall planning and character of the Ithaca campus.
    Public Safety Advisory Committee
    The purpose of the Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) is to advise the Cornell Police on issues related to current campus security policies and procedures and make recommendations for their improvement.
    Transportation Hearing and Appeals Board
    The Transportation Hearing and Appeals Board (THAB) reviews decisions that have been denied by Commuter and Parking Services Administrative staff on matters relating to violation appeals and special requests for exceptions to parking rules and regulations and/or normal permit eligibility criteria.

    3.  Disbanded Committees

    Effective Wednesday, 1 June 2011, the following committees will be disbanded, with their responsibilities re-assigned to a new, smaller set of committees.

    Assemblies System Review Committee
    The Assemblies System Review Committee is charged with continually reviewing the University Assembly Charter and resolving conflicts between and among the constituent assemblies at Cornell.
    Budget Planning Committee
    The Budget Planning Committee reviews policy and makes recommendations to the university provost concerning development of the University�s long-range plan and budget policies with regards to such financial issues as tuition, student fees, financial aid, graduate student stipends, enrollments, compensation, and endowed Ithaca employee benefits rates.
    Board on University Health Services
    The Board on University Health Services has primary responsibility for debating and formulating changes in policies concerning Gannett Health Services and other health services-related policy.
    Transportation Advisory Committee
    The University Assembly Transportation Advisory Committee’s charge is to provide a conduit for community input regarding policies and services related to safe, comprehensive, economical, and efficient transportation programs.
    Cornell Store Administrative Board
    The Cornell Store Administrative Board has primary responsibility for debating and formulating changes in policies concerning the Cornell Store.
    Cornell United Religious Work Advisory Board
    The Cornell United Religious Work Administrative Board has primary responsibility for debating and formulating changes in policies concerning the Cornell United Religious Work.
    University Sustainability Committee
    The University Sustainability Committee advises, consults, and communicates with the University Assembly and its constituents on matters related to the development and implementation of community sustainability issues, policies and programs.

    4.  Formerly Associated Committees (Disbanded or Dissociated)

    Effective Wednesday, 1 June 2011, the following committees were dissociated from the University Assembly. The assembly will utilize a new committee structure to carry on responsibilities associated with these committees. Since these committees were jointly chartered with other units or assemblies, they are now considered committees of the assembly or administrative unit that jointly chartered them. Please review their websites (below) for more information.

    Family Services Committee
    The Family Services Committee identifies needs of members of the campus community with family responsibilities, addresses issues related to work/study/life balance, and studies proposals brought by members of the university community or administration to meet those needs.
    Childcare Sub-Committee
    The Childcare Services Subcommittee identifies needs of the university community concerning childcare services and studies proposals brought by members of the university community or administration to meet those needs. It reports to the Family Services Committee.
    Joint Assemblies Multicultural Issues Committee
    The Student Assembly Committee on Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives presents and monitors recommendations to the university encouraging interaction among its various racial, ethnic, and cultural constituencies.
    Joint Assemblies Financial Aid Review Committee
    The Joint Assemblies Financial Aid Review Committee was a joint committee of the Student and University Assemblies. Its successor is the Student Assembly Financial Aid Review Committee.
