University Hearing and Review Boards

Joining the Committee

In any given case, the university convenes a hearing or review panel of three people, one from each constituency. A pool of 49 select students, staff, and faculty provides the members of these panels. For a given case, the review panel is composed of different people from the hearing panel.

Undergraduate Students, Graduate and Professional Students, and Employees

Twenty positions are open to undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Sixteen more are open to non-faculty employees. University Assembly staffs these committees with assistance from the Codes and Judicial Committee. Sixteen positions are open to faculty.The Faculty Senate staffs faculty appointments to the committees. The President of the university staffs one position.
